hello. cant sleep, dad snores louder than the exhaust note of a boxer engine from a subaru wrx sti.
Speaking of which i realize that the boxer engine is a very nice engine, it is very interesting about the way it works.
to put it simply it works like this

Six pistons are connected to the crankshaft. unlike normal engines, the pistons pushes out horizontally like a boxer throwing a punch and alternatively by the pair opposite.

Also, the boxer engine tend to produce more noise then the normal ones because the valve clutter are not blocked by air filters and other components in the engine bay. That resulting in the famous low droning sound of the subaru wrx sti. woonnoonnnonn.

To make things better, throw in the turbochargers.

and you will get this monster hatchback.

which redefines the rivalry between Subaru and Mitsubishi. Again.
